Ken Ruud, Attorney at Law

Ken has practiced all facets of commercial and residential real estate law for more than 40 years. He is well-known and respected by real estate professionals throughout the Chicagoland area. Prior to starting his successful real estate practice, he was a real estate broker who ran his own company.

Ken has represented clients in hundreds of 1031 exchanges during his career.

Todd Leslie, Attorney at Law

After receiving his law degree in 1999, Todd worked as an associate at a law firm in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on property law and business litigation. In 2002, he joined Ken Ruud's real estate law practice as his partner.

Todd has handled thousands of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Each year, he advises and counsels many clients regarding 1031 exchanges and helps guide them through the process.

John Galley, Attorney at Law

For decades, John Galley was a real estate transactions attorney licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. He also was the owner of Blackhawk Title, a title insurance agency. More than 30 years ago, he started Investors Exchange, a 1031 intermediary company. He has acted as a Qualified Intermediary for thousands of 1031 exchanges.

Known as a 1031 exchange intermediary "guru", we are very happy to have him as a part of our team, and he will be an invaluable resource for you during the process.

Between the three of us, we have more than 100 years combined experience in real estate law and 1031 exchanges. We started Exchange Alliance, LLC in order to fill what we saw as a much-needed service in the Chicagoland area.
